There are a number of bars, restaurants and shops within the immediate vicinity. Near to the old Roman port at Cartagena and various other historic villages for those seeking some history.
The La Manga Golf Club Resort, 5 minutes drive away, provides excellent golfing facilities (3 Championship Golf Courses) along with tennis courts, spa and much more.
In the surrounding area those looking for adventure will find specialist clubs who cater for hang gliding, parachuting etc. There are ten watersport centres along the length of the nearby La Manga strip offering a variety of courses from canoeing, water skiing & deep sea diving.
The nearby Calbanque National Park, as well as a number of fantastic unspoilt beaches, provides an ideal location for walking, climbing & mountain biking. |

The Mar Menor is the nearest sea which is a large salt water lagoon which enjoys warm shallow waters ideal for all water sports as well as being good for families and children.
There are a number of supermarkets, bars & restaurants (as well as a Tennis club, childrens playgrounds, and marinas) within short walking distance of the apartment. The next village, Los Belones (2 mins drive) has several more shops, bars & restaurants.

The Mar Menor enjoys average temperatures of 30c + during the summer months and 16c + in winter months. With an average of 320 days of sunshine each year and this being one of the driest regions of Spain, it makes an ideal holiday destination in both summer and winter. |
