| Description |
Our new, privately owned apartment is located in the peaceful and traditionally Spanish village of los Lobos, which is situated in the unique and unspoilt Almanzora region of Almeria. It is an ideal base for a wonderful relaxing holiday at any time of year with winter temperatures around 20ºc
Los Lobos village contains several bars, a shop, which is open all hours and sells everything, and a restaurant is planned for later on this year 2007. The village is only 10 minutes from some very beautiful blue flag beaches and for those more active there are several golf courses nearby, the Championship course of Desert Springs with all its facilities (10 mins drive), Valle de Este and Mojacar to name a few. There is scuba diving at San Juan de los Terreros, Mojacar and Villaricos, a wonderful Aqua park near Garrucha, golf driving range, pitch and putt and fitness facilities with fully equipped gym at Puerta Rey, Go-karting at Garrucha and horse riding at Vera and Mojacar.
There are many places worth visiting including Mojacar, Carboneras, Sorbas, Mini Hollywood and Zoo at Tabernas, and the beautiful Natural Parks at Cabo de Gata and Espuna. A little further away are Almeria, Roquetas, Lorca, Murcia and Alicante
and the beautiful city of Granada. The Sierra Nevada Mountains are just east of Granada and host some fantastic winter sports and all year round walking.
The market towns of Aquilas, Vera, Cuevas del Almanzora, Garrucha, Huercal Overa and Pulpi all hold weekly open-air markets, which sell wonderful vegetables and other products. There is a wide range and variety of excellent restaurants serving locally caught fish, paella and many other delights.
Our ground floor apartment has a double- bedded room with ensuite shower room, one twin-bedded and one single bedroom, which are served by a large family bathroom. The open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area comfortably furnished and equipped with seating for 6 and the well-fitted kitchen leads to a utility area with washing machine and drying facilities. All rooms have ceiling fans.
Bed linen and house towels are included in the rental price, but please bring your own beach towels for use outside the house. |

The fenced pool offers safe swimming and can be watched from the ground floor front sun terrace. | | | | Things to do | Enjoy visits to Mojacar, the water park near Garrucha, Mini Hollywood at Tabernas, markets, caves, local fiestas, and a little further afield is the wonderful city of Granada (approx.2hrs drive). There are many excellent golf courses nearby (the renowned Desert Springs is just 10 minutes drive), a variety of water sports and plenty of walking.
