Casa Mariposa is located actually on the Golf and Country Club situated overlooking the 18th hole with spectacular panoramic views! On booking we can pre-arrange Golf tee times at preferential rates! The course was designed by Severiano Ballesteros and is a 18 hole par 72 course, with views through the valley to the Mediterranean and North Africa beyond - golf at its very best!
The lovely beaches of this region are within a few minutes as is the famous Marina of Puerto Banus and Cosmopolitan Marbella with its cobbled streets, elegant shops, bars and beautiful "Orange Square" where you will find lots of great restaurants! It you are seeking the more traditional side of Spain you are in the perfect location for the many historical sites and the idyllic white washed mountain villages renowned in this area of Andalucia. Picturesque Ronda which nestles over the great gorge and boasts the oldest Bullring in Spain is less than an hour away as is fabulous Gibraltar with its duty free shops!Historical Granada, Cordoba and Seville are easy day trips along with Tangiers in Morocco via the Ferry from Algecirus.
Not to forget our younger guests who are also well catered for with Water Parks, Theme and Adventure Parks together with every type of water sport, sailing, fishing, cycling, horse riding.etc
