Luxury, privately owned villa overlooking the picturesque old town of Salobrena, with its Moorish castle, available for the discerning holidaymaker to enjoy peace and solitude (if required!) in a perfect hideaway setting. This is one of the most beautiful and unique areas of Spain, and yet all the essentials for a happy and memorable holiday are within 15 minute's drive.
The villa has its own private pool and ample terraces to enjoy the wonderful and panoramic views over the Mediterranean, Sierra Nevada mountains and the alluvial plain, stretching over Salobrena, Motril and beyond! Ideally situated to explore the cultural heritage of Spain: the wonderful city of Granada, including the Alhambra and of course, the skiing and extensive sports facilities in the Sierra National Park are about half an hour's drive. Even closer, are the Alpujarras, so vividly described by Chris Stewart in his book 'Driving Over Lemons.'
Malaga airport is just an hour and a quarter's drive, and the smaller airport of Almeria offers an alternative and is about the same distance from the villa as Malaga. |
